Getting started
There are two ways to connect a website. Both take a few minutes and start on the Free plan.
WordPress and WooCommerce
- Install the free AtlasLaunch AI Assistant plugin and open its settings.
- Press Connect and enter your email. Your site gets its own account and key; the key stays on your server.
- The plugin sends your pages, posts and products, and sends each change when you save. A chat button appears on every page.
WooCommerce shops also get the shop actions: add to cart, show the cart, remove an item and help with checkout.
Any other website
- Register your website (one API call) to get its secret key. Keep that key on your server.
- With the secret key, turn on sitemap reading (or send your pages through the API) and create your public site key. A dashboard screen for both is on the way.
- Add one tag before
</body>with the public key:
<script src="https://assistant.atlasvoice.cloud/sdk/v1.js" data-key="alapk_your_public_site_key"
data-search-url="https://example.com/?s={q}" async></script>The public key is safe in your page source: it works only from your own website’s addresses (its allowed origins), and every visitor is rate-limited. Your secret key never goes into a page. If your site sends a Content-Security-Policy, allow https://assistant.atlasvoice.cloud in script-src and connect-src.
Adding your content
The assistant answers only from what is in your site’s index. There are two ways to fill it, and you can use both:
- Push (WordPress, or your own server through the API): send pages and products when they change. Each item has an id, URL, title, type and text; products can add their price, stock, sale status and categories.
- Sitemap reading: we read your sitemap every day (every 6 hours to 7 days, your choice), fetch the pages that changed, take the main text of each page, and remove pages that left the sitemap. We respect your robots.txt and skip pages marked
noindex. Product prices and stock come from the page’s structured data.
Text is split into short passages. A passage that did not change is not processed again, and a price change never re-processes anything. New content can be found by its words at once and by its meaning a few minutes later.
| Plan | Pages and products per site |
|---|---|
| Free | 2,000 |
| Pro | 20,000 |
How answers work
- The question is searched in your site’s passages, by its words and by its meaning (so “Do you deliver to Toronto?” finds your shipping page).
- The AI reads the best few passages, the current page and the last few messages, and decides: answer, say it isn’t on your site, or do something on the page.
- Before anything is shown, the service checks it: an answer must name a page it was given, prices and numbers must appear in your content, links must point to your own site, and an action must point at your own pages and products.
If a check fails, or nothing relevant was found, the visitor sees that your site doesn’t say, with a link to your own search. The assistant never answers general questions that have nothing to do with your site.
Actions
| Action | Where | What happens |
|---|---|---|
go | Every site | Opens one of your pages (only pages in your index, or your home page). |
list | Every site | Shows products, products on sale, posts or pages from your index in the chat. |
read_page | Every site | Reads the current page aloud with the browser’s voice. |
summary | Every site | Summarises one of your pages from its own text. |
add_to_cart, show_cart, remove_from_cart, fill_checkout | WooCommerce (plugin) | The shop actions; the plugin reports the real result, such as the new cart total. |
| Your own | Any site | Anything your page can do: open the dashboard, book a demo, switch a tab. See registerAction. |
Languages and voice
- Visitors can ask in their own language; the search understands 50+ languages, so a question in German finds an English page. The answer follows the visitor’s language, or the language you set.
- The microphone button and “read answers aloud” use the browser’s own speech features. They appear only where the browser supports them, and nothing is recorded by AtlasLaunch AI.
Allowance and limits
- Free: 500 answers a month per account (shared by its free sites). Pro: no monthly limit, fair use, per site.
- When the month is used up, the chat stays and offers your site search until the 1st of the next month (UTC). You are never billed for more.
- Each visitor can ask a few questions a minute, so one person or script cannot use up your month.
- In a busy moment a question may wait a few seconds; if the AI is full, the visitor is pointed to your search for that question. These are not counted.
Privacy
- Your site’s index (the pages and products you send or we read) is stored for your site until you remove it, remove the site, or delete your account.
- Visitor questions and answers are never stored. We keep only daily counts for your plan.
- The conversation stays in the visitor’s browser tab for 30 minutes, so it follows them from page to page. Details a visitor types for a checkout form are never sent to us.
- The AI runs on our own servers; no outside AI company sees your content or your visitors’ questions. See the Privacy Policy.
Troubleshooting
| You see | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No chat button | The script tag is missing, or your CSP blocks it. | Check the tag and allow https://assistant.atlasvoice.cloud in your CSP. |
| “I can’t answer that right now” on every question | The public key is wrong, or your address is not in its allowed origins. | Copy the key again; add your site’s address (with www. if you use it) to the allowed origins. |
| “I couldn’t find that on this site” | The answer is not in your index yet. | Check the page is in your sitemap or was sent; new pages take a few minutes. |
| The index is full | Your plan’s page limit was reached. | Leave out pages that don’t help visitors, or upgrade to Pro. |
