Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 November 2026
The short version
- Your content stays yours. We use it only to answer your own website’s visitors.
- Only connect websites you run, keep your secret key on your server, and put only the public site key in pages.
- AI answers can still be wrong. We check them against your pages, but you are responsible for your content and what your site tells visitors.
- The Free plan is free within its monthly allowance, and we never bill for more than your plan.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Atlas AiDev, Dhaka 1207, Bangladesh (“we” or “us”). They cover the AtlasLaunch AI API, the JavaScript SDK, the dashboard and this website (together, “the service”). By creating an account, connecting a website or using a key, you agree to them. If you use the service for a company, you confirm you can agree for that company.
The AtlasLaunch AI WordPress plugin is covered by its own licence. Purchases of Pro and Agency licences are also covered by the atlasaidev.com terms and refund policy.
2. Your account and keys
- Give us a real email address and keep your account details up to date.
- Keep your secret key (ala_live_…) secret. Use it from your server, never in a page. The public site key (alapk_…) is meant for pages and works only from the website addresses you allow.
- You are responsible for all use of your keys. If a secret key leaks, revoke it in the dashboard at once; rotate a public key that is misused.
- A website that asks to join an existing account needs the account owner’s approval before it can use the service.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.
3. Plans, allowances and fair use
- Free: a monthly allowance of answers and a number of indexed pages, shown in your dashboard and on the pricing page. All free websites of one account share one allowance.
- Pro and Agency: a website gets Pro when it holds a seat of a Pro or Agency licence. Pro has no monthly answer limit but keeps fair-use limits, such as how many questions a site can send each minute.
- No overage: when an allowance is used up, the service stops answering until the next month (the chat offers your own site search). We never charge for answers beyond your plan.
- An answer counts only when the AI ran for it. Requests refused before that, and our own errors, are not counted.
- We may change allowances, limits or prices. We’ll give you notice before a change that reduces what you already pay for. Licences are sold through Freemius, our licensing and payment provider.
4. Your content
- You own the content of your website. You give us permission to store your site’s pages and products (its “index”) and to use them only to answer your website’s visitors and to show you your usage.
- When you ask us to read your sitemap, you confirm the website is yours or that you may have it read. We read only that website, follow its robots.txt and skip pages marked noindex.
- We don’t use your content, or your visitors’ questions, to train AI models, and we don’t sell them.
- Answers you teach the assistant are your content. If you switch on “Learn from visitors’ questions”, you ask us to keep, on your behalf and for 30 days, your visitors’ questions (answered or not), answers they marked “Not helpful” and their survey comments, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You can remove pages from your index, or the whole index, at any time. Deleting a website or your account deletes its index.
5. AI answers
The assistant answers from your own content and shows its sources. Before an answer is shown, the service checks that it names a page it was given and that its prices and numbers appear in your content, and actions are limited to your own pages and products. These checks lower the risk of a wrong answer but cannot remove it: an answer can still misread a page. Keep your pages accurate, review how the assistant answers your most important questions, and don’t present its answers as legal, medical or financial advice.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone’s rights, including copyright in content you don’t have the right to use;
- mislead visitors, for example about prices, stock or who they are talking to;
- index or answer from illegal, hateful or violent content, or sexual content involving minors in any way;
- have the service read websites that are not yours, or send requests meant to attack, overload or probe it, or get around its limits;
- share, sell or resell your keys or access.
7. Visitors on your website
You are responsible for telling your website’s visitors that they are talking to an automated assistant and for your own privacy notice. If you switch on “Learn from visitors’ questions”, your privacy notice must say that visitors’ questions are kept for up to 30 days to improve the assistant. The SDK keeps the conversation in the visitor’s browser tab and does not set cookies; see our Privacy Policy for what the service processes.
8. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep the service running, but we can’t promise it will always be available, fast or error-free; in busy moments it may refuse a question and point the visitor to your site search. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we’ll give account holders reasonable notice.
9. Suspension and ending your account
- You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the dashboard. Deleting it removes your websites and their indexes.
- We may suspend or close an account, website or key that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or is used for abuse. Where it’s reasonable, we’ll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
10. Disclaimers
Apart from what these terms expressly promise, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Your responsibility to us
If your use of the service, or content you send or have us read, breaks these terms or the law and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with that claim.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and for important changes we’ll let account holders know by email before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
